Galerie Nasty Alice is pleased to announce SHIFTING TIMES, a duo exhibition by Mariëtte van Erp and Martin Schuster.

The gallery shows work by two artists that moves between past, present and future. Mariëtte van Erp draws and paints her surroundings, the landscape of Brabant. According to Van Erp, the landscape is always in motion and continuously changing. Mariëtte van Erp observes and records what occurs. Martin Schuster is inspired by memories and experiences from his childhood and youth. His paintings show parties, journeys and an escape from reality. Often, they are situated in a post-apocalyptic world, picturing the future, which turns out to be the present, or the other way around.
